UT/TSU Extension is now offering two options for the TN Master Beef Producer Program:

1. Online Class – Self-paced, complete at your convenience

2. In-Person Class – Schedule for 2026 coming soon at the Wayne Co Ag Center Extension Office

Producers applying for TAEP cost-share will need this certification!

🐴 Wayne County 4-H Horse Bowl Practices Are Starting Soon! 🐴

Do you love horses or want to learn more about them? Join us for Horse Bowl, a fun quiz-style contest where you’ll learn tons of horse knowledge, make new friends, and have a great time competing!

3:30–4:30 PM

Grades 4th–12th are welcome!

You don’t need any prior experience. Just bring your curiosity and excitement to learn!

Tennessee 4-H is launching its FIRST statewide

4-H Fishing Program!

We’re excited to offer this brand-new opportunity starting this Spring!

All registered participants will receive:

A laser-engraved 4-H Clover Check-It Stick

Access to the FishDonkey app

This will be an 8-week tournament-style program, using the app and measuring sticks to submit your catches. Eligible species include:

β€’ Bass

β€’ Catfish

β€’ Panfish (bluegill, crappie, bream, sunfish)

β€’ Trout

Prizes will be awarded at the end of the program for the largest fish in each category and the best string of 5.

Divisions:

β€’ Junior: 4th–8th grade

β€’ Senior: 9th–12th grade

Registration is $40 per youth.
